Key Trends 1 - The Tunic
Nothing is more forgiving, comfortable or low maintenance. In a jewel tone, or graphic print, a tunic top can easily be transformed into something special. This seasons tunics feature a few new twists: slight tailoring at the waist for a more flattering shape, while an asymmetrical hem gives it a playful yet sexy edge. If you have coltish legs and youth on your side, wear it as a dress - or wear it with skinny leg pants or tights if you are just hanging out. To transition the piece from day to night, pair it with some slim line pants in the same luxe fabric and add some chandelier earrings, a navel grazing pendant, a stack of bangles and some killer heels. From simple to sophisticated in a matter of minutes.
Body Shape Tip: Try to avoid tunics that hit you mid thigh otherwise they will emphasize one of the widest parts of your leg. Look for tunics that have a more streamlined shape. If they are too voluminous, they will be unflattering and can drown your frame if you are petite
